AKINCI, produced with high technology by AKINROBOTICS, is the first humanoid robot prototype in Turkiye. It is a project that started in 2009 with R&D studies. AKINCI-4, the fifth prototype of the project, can exhibit human-like features such as moving its fingers, arm joints, and facial expressions. It also has the ability to walk thanks to its legs. With a total weight of 48 kilograms and a height of 150 centimeters, AKINCI-4 can actively serve for 5 hours. It has the ability to maintain its balance by responding instantly to external forces (pushing, obstacles on the road, ramps, etc.) during walking thanks to its balance sensor, depth perception with stereo vision camera, reaching the target point by determining its direction while walking, notifying dangerous situations thanks to its odor sensor, and determining the direction thanks to its sensors. With its 6 axis 2 arms, it can perform almost all the movements that the human arm can do, with its 6 axis 2 legs, it can walk, change direction, climb stairs, grasp objects with its 5-finger ergonomic design, and perform facial expressions with its 12-axis face motors. AKINCI-4, which is aimed to take part in areas where human labor is intensively used such as warehouses, production facilities, and mines, continues its work in this direction.
