ADA G4, whose production, software and robot interface studies were developed by AKINROBOTICS, is taking its place in everyday life. ADA G4: Waiter Robot is the fifth prototype of the social robot ADA series by AKINROBOTICS. It has a wide range of functions, from kitchen services to obstacle detection. Some of its features are taking orders from the kitchen, serving tables, walking, speaking, vision, obstacle detection, and a two-axis movable head. These technical features have enabled the robots to successfully perform various tasks, providing users with an interactive experience. The project's start date was set on 11.07.2015, and it was successfully completed on 28.05.2016. ADA G4: Waiter Robot weighs 36 kg, and its height of 150 cm. The battery technology used in the robot is lead-acid (12V), and it speaks in the Turkish language. ADA G4: Waiter Robot stands out not only with its visual and auditory perception abilities but also with its capability to safely move by detecting obstacles in its surroundings. The two-axis movable head allows the robot to offer a more flexible and interactive experience. ADA G4, which served as a waiter at Cadde Meram Cafe and Robotic Application Center, considered the first step in robotic technologies in Turkey, completing its active duties, is now showcased for visitors at the Istanbul Robot Museum, opened on December 15, 2022, by AKINSOFT and AKINROBOTICS.
