Announced on May 30, 2011, the ongoing R&D activities of PNCR-1, the first robotic system designed and produced by AKINSOFT Robotics Department (AKINROBOTICS), resulted in success and the prototype agricultural robot PNCR-2 took its place in the history of the world. The planting of sugar beets, like many other crops, requires special conditions and careful handling. PNCR prototypes are robotic systems that eliminate the human error factor and maximize field efficiency. The PNCR project, which became a more specialized system by making it suitable for real field conditions and activating the necessary algorithms (control systems) as AS-PNCR-1, was completed under the name PNCR-2. The electronic and mechanical structure was renewed, and the batteries on it were used more efficiently, increasing both mobility and enabling the system to operate with solar energy. The sowing unit was tested not only in the AKINROBOTICS Robotics Department laboratories but also in the laboratories of the Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture, and it was proven that the system could sow with high accuracy despite requiring much smaller dimensions and much lower powers than traditional mechanical systems. PNCR-2, which weighs 280 kilograms and is 175 centimeters long, is 87 centimeters high and 100 centimeters wide from the ground. Our robot, which has a speed of 2.8 km/h, is suitable for long-term use with a 10-hour battery life. You can access AS-PNCR visuals from within the page.
