AKINSOFT AGRICULTURAL ROBOT AS-PNCR-1

AKINSOFT Robotics Department (AKINROBOTICS) successfully completed the first field work (30.05.2011) of the agricultural robot PNCR-1, which will increase the efficiency of sugar beet to 95-96% as a result of its R&D studies on robotic technologies. AS-PNCR-1, all mechanical parts, electronic circuits and software were developed in AKINSOFT Robotics Department (AKINROBOTICS). AS-PNCR-1, which sows in the form of two strings in its prototype, will serve in the next period, besides beet cultivation, in soil analysis, fertilization and weed control.

AS-PNCR-1 will automatically plant beets, carry out checks for duplicate planting after construction, and will conduct soil analysis for water or fertilization at any time. With its image processing algorithms and radio frequency location detection system, it will determine its position and perform the sowing process itself thanks to its artificial intelligence integrated system. PNCR-1, which will carry out operations such as sowing, fertilizing, spraying and weed removal without using any other commands after the area where the planting will be made is defined; it is expected to create a great momentum in these sectors as it is also intertwined with agriculture, animal husbandry, feed, pharmaceutical, meat, milk, transportation and service sectors.The production of the solar powered version of the robot, whose seed selection and planting units are completed, is planned.
